Presently the offering for this all vaccinated sale is approximately 600 animals which cover the range from 500lb through to the early 900's. There appears to be a significant number of animals from my lead information that would be suitable for backgrounding.

The vast majority have received live vaccine with many having as added coverage parasite control, pasteurella, blackleg and H.S.[sleeping sickness]. There are a few instances where the vaccination timing is closer to sale date than ideal but that should not be as critical at this time of year. At this time in our sale program vaccinations are almost 100% administered in the neck and heifers are guaranteed open in almost all cases.

[i]Approx 55 animals in 800-850 range which are double-moved . They are properly vaccinated but presently there are no specific details re breed, or gender

[ii]46 CHARX and LIMOX heifers in the 800 lb range - live vacc + parasite control in Nov.

guaranteed open, double moved - should split into good sized ring lots - on ration of haylage/silage with H.M corn and distillers grain

[iii]30 - 35 LIMOX heifers and steers 750-800lb. range - live vacc + pasteurella, parasite control and 200 day implant in Dec./07-Age Verified. heifers guaranteed open, steers surgical castration, vaccinated cowherd, weaned -on balage and ground corn

[iv]30+ CHARX and LIMOX steers in 900 lb.range - consistent group which will sort into good sized ring lots -live vacc + parasite control in late Dec./07- double moved, surgical castration- on haylage/silage, H.M. corn and dry distillers grain

[v]15 heifers and 17 steers GELBV X cattle in 700 lb. range -2 x killed vaccine +parasite control - heifers guaranteed open, surgical castration of steers - weaned in Dec.- on hay only -suitable for backgrounding or feedlot - born Apr.-May/07

[vi]32 animals -13 home grown [7 heifers, 6 steers] and 19 purchased in all vacc Nov/07 sale [14 heifers, 5 steers] HOME GROWN: CHARX - 2 x killed in Nov.-Dec./07 + Pasteurella and parasite control- heifers guar. open, vacc cowherd, weaned in mid Dec.

PURCHASED; Mostly CHARX- vaccinated in late Sept - Oct. 19/07 range -all except 2 live vaccinated and Age Verified- double moved, heifers guaranteed open and steers surgically castrated

All on dry hay and 7-8lb ground corn./day/animal

[vii]30 CHARX heifers and steers -live vacc + Pasteurella, blackleg and parasite control in mid Jan./08 birthdates April1 - August --weaned in Dec, vaccinated cowherd, steers pinched in mid Jan. on balage, cracked corn, distillers grain, salt and mineral.
